Quảng Ninh

Quang Ninh is a coastal province, considered as a miniature Vietnam, because there are sea, islands, plains, midlands, hills and borders. This is the main coal mining province of Vietnam and has Ha Long Bay which is a world heritage and natural wonder. Quang Ninh is a locomotive of the northern key economic region and one of the four major tourist centers of Vietnam. Quang Ninh has many economic zones. Mong Cai trade center is a trade hub between Vietnam – China and other countries in the region. In 2016, Quang Ninh province has the second highest provincial competitiveness index in Vietnam.

 

Did you know: King Tran Nhan Tong (1279-1293) chose Yen Tu, Quang Ninh as the place of monkhood and founded the Zen Truc Lam Lineage in Vietnam.
